How to work out the session hourly rate for the CCS calculator

Modified on Mon, 6 May at 3:38 PM

TeamKids charges per session, not per hour so our rate will be based on the total number of hours the session is open.

From time to time families may need to work out the hourly rate of a session.  This could be used to access a CCS calculator, or to confirm if a session goes our Centrelink's hourly rate cap.

Hour Rate Cap

How much is the session per hour?

To work out the hourly rate of a session, you can do the following:

Divide the session fee by the total hours of operation of the session

I.e. after school care runs from 3.15pm till 6.00pm.  The session runs for 2 hours and 45 minutes

The full session cost is $31.50

$31.50 divided by 2 hours and 45 minutes = $11.45 per hour
