As per our normal cancellation policy, when a booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the session commencing, the regular session fee applies. If we are not notified of an after school care cancellation before the session commences, the $10 No Show Fee will also apply, in addition to the session fee.
When a child is booked for care but does not arrive to after school care, our staff must take additional steps to ensure that child's safety. This involves:
- Contacting parents or guardians
- Communicating with the school
- Diverting staff attention away from children in care while we search the grounds
- Contact emergency services (if we are unable to contact families)
These safety checks are essential but require time, resources, and staff focus - impacting our ability to provide the best care for all children.
To avoid incurring the $10 No Show Fee, please notify us of your cancellation, and cancel your child's booking in accordance with our cancellation procedures (normal cancellation charges apply):
- Before 2:00PM on the day of care: cancel online via your TeamKids account.
- After 2:00PM on the day of care: call the onsite team at your venue to advise of a late cancellation. This must be done before the start time of your After School Care (ASC) session
